NEEDS
Pots Café & Bistro is a restaurant brand that showcases a modern cabin aesthetic. The brand was inspired by the amazing cafés and restaurants in the UK. The brand wanted to differentiate itself with a brand inspired by the majestic outdoors of the UK and downtown London city scene.
The need was to create a brand that balances chic and modern aesthetics and a blend of rustic, welcoming, quaint and simplicity of the English countryside. The perfect getaway from the busy, bustling city life.
SOLUTIONS
The restaurant itself has a modern look. By combining it with worn, hardwood furniture and dark stone floors, Pots creates a warm cozy cabin feel.
The final logo design has a vintage and modern fusion feel. I kerned the letters and refined details such as the S in Pots to accentuate the curve to that of the spout of a teapot. The menu is bold and graphic. The copy is organized into sections with hand-drawn illustrations on a white background.
